great post. but i tried to think of something and i couldn't imagine what could turn me away from my "retirement" wardrobe. i once underwent a bag overhaul and i don't think i've changed much, not in the personal style department, except that i have more expensive bags in my collection now. but i still go back and in fact use my cheap bags more. at least i don't commit more mismatched bags faux pas now, that much i can declare.
hmm. My uniform is: 60s shifts, 70s print jerseys and modern fine knits. I think it would have to be some spectacularly-tailored, brand new, elaborate hippie spectacular to beguile me and change how I look. I also still await the Boots of my Dreams.

Oh, so many things! Great post! For me, vintage accessories, especially jewelry seems to elevate me into another realm and I just can't wear blah clothes if my heart is set on the right babbles.
