Ski Print Scarves

It occurred to me last week while looking at that great collegiate sports scarf  how rare sporting print scarves are.  I have one from the 1930s of swimmers, and several of people sailing, but other than that, they are really pretty hard to find.

The exception being ski prints.  I have four ski and winter sports themed scarves, including what is probably my favorite scarf, the one directly below.  It was made in Switzerland where they know a thing or two about winter sports, and where they also know how to print a pretty nifty scarf!

What fun scarves! Love the illustration style on the last one :)

Oh my! That yellow one seems so competitive compared to the others somehow. Maybe it's because the skiers are more realistic?

Anyway, that's quite a collection!

What delightfully lovely scarves, I would happily sport any one of them to keep my (always chilly) neck nice and toasty this season.

I wonder if, back in the day, more scarves with varying sport motifs were available (yet are now harder to find), or if the main focus (sports wise) really was just on skiing?

Thank you very much for your recent comment and visit, it's a joy to hear from you!

Big hugs,
♥ Jessica

Jessica,
That's an interesting thought, and I'd love to know the answer. Of course, I'll keep everyone posted if more sports related scarves surface.
