Vintage Roadtrip!

We are leaving in the morning for three days in beautiful Charleston, SC.  This is a city we have visited many, many times, but it never gets old.  Not to say that the city itself isn't old, as it certainly is.  I'll be back with lovely photos that will make anyone who has never seen Charleston start packing their bags.

A side note:  I was recently featured in a new UK magazine,  Herstoria. This magazine is devoted to women's history, and they liked my Fuzzylizzie Vintage Chronicles site so much that I was named one of the best websites for women's history.  Each month they feature two sites, so I was one of the two.  Here's the article:

So you can see why I'm pleased!  Anyway, the magazine is very good.  Check out their site for a list of this issue's articles.  And if you are in the UK, go out and buy a copy, or even better, subscribe.  And even though it is a bit pricy for US subscriptions, I'm seriously considering signing up.  It's that good.

THE MANY OF THE FAMILY WERE PART OF MAKING THE FIRM SUCCESSFUL AS IT BECAME. MY HUSBAND WAS VERY MANTHEMATICLE AND DEVELOPE A PERCENTAGE MARKER THAT SAVED MATERIAL BY CUTING CERTAIN SIZES TOGETHER.
